A newly-completed luxury residential apartment in the heart of Jakarta was having an urgent requirement to strengthen the reinforced concrete beams and slabs at the mezzanine due to a sudden change in the function at this floor level. As the residential development was gearing up towards full completion and residents taking over their units, the requirement for the strengthening will need to be completed within a very short period of time.

The engineering team of PT. Fyfe Fibrwrap Indonesia was contacted by the project consultant and contractor to submit the strengthening proposal based on their requirement for strengthening of the beams. The project was duly confirmed upon approval of the strengthening proposal and the installation team was mobilised to complete the work. The Tyfo® Fibrwrap® System was successfully installed to the affected beams within the project time-frame as set forth by the contractor.
